[Impressive First Quarter 2025 Argentine Squid Fishing Data]

According to data from Argentina's squid fishing industry in 2025, as of March 11th, declared catches reached 80,173 tons, marking a 3% increase from the 77,744 tons recorded in the same period in 2024. A total of 73 squid fishing vessels captured 69,028 tons of squid, achieving an average daily catch of 24 tons per vessel.

Squids, with their highly developed visual systems, are extremely sensitive to light—a characteristic that has led to the widespread adoption of "light-induced fishing methods" in modern squid fishing operations. Currently, most squid boats utilize metal halide lamps ranging from 3000W to 4000W as primary tools. However, these lamps come with significant drawbacks:

High energy consumption, rapid light decay, and short lifespan.

Generation of harmful ultraviolet radiation during use, posing health risks and containing hazardous chemicals that can pollute the environment if broken.

Long startup times, which hinder quick responses to sudden situations and often result in missed fishing opportunities.

To address these challenges, GSEO has developed LED fishing lights with the following technological advancements:

Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection: Reduced fuel consumption and a modular design for easier maintenance.

In an era where global environmental awareness and technological advancements are paramount, many countries and regions are increasingly prioritizing sustainable green fishing practices. The European Union and major fishing nations advocate for reducing the use of high-energy-consuming and polluting lamps.

Through rigorous testing, GSEO's LED fishing lights have demonstrated remarkable advantages in enhancing fishing efficiency, lowering fuel costs, and ensuring ecological sustainability. They represent the ideal choice for equipping long-range fishing fleets with cutting-edge technology.
